Week 5 Fantasy Injury Nuke: Saquon OUT, DeVonta OUT, Lamar OUT — Fix Your Lineups Now
The Eagles lose Barkley and Smith in London. The Ravens start Tyler Huntley on Sunday Night Football. Here's the free start/sit fallout before lock.

If your Week 5 lineup still has Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith or Lamar Jackson in a starting slot, stop scrolling and fix it. Right now.
Final injury reports dropped Friday, and three franchise fantasy pieces are officially done for the weekend. Here's the verified board, the free start/sit fallout, and who inherits the touches — no sportsbook noise, just lineup math.
Last re-checked Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, ~7:30 a.m. PT. Always confirm Sunday inactives.
Eagles: Saquon + DeVonta both OUT (London)
Philadelphia rules out RB Saquon Barkley (hamstring) and WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, per CBS Sports' Shanna McCarriston and the Associated Press. Both hurt last week against the Rams.
Also OUT for the Eagles, per CBS Sports: WR Marquise Brown (ankle), C Drew Kendall (knee), S Marcus Epps (groin). OLB Jonathan Greenard is questionable (ankle).
Fantasy fallout (free advice):
- Sit Barkley and Smith. Full stop. Don't "hope" — they're designated out.
- Darius Cooper jumps the waiver/flex conversation. We flagged him in our Week 5 sleepers piece at ~8% ESPN rostered with Barkley and Smith out. Opportunity is the whole game.
- A.J. Brown (if healthy and active) becomes even more of a must-start — but check inactives; volume concentrates when two starters sit.
- Trevor Lawrence remains a START in our model vs. Philly. See our start/sit board.
Jaguars side: CB Jaylon Jones OUT (hamstring), S Eric Murray DOUBTFUL (concussion), per CBS Sports. Relatively clean for Jacksonville.
Ravens: Lamar OUT — Huntley starts Sunday Night
Baltimore head coach Jesse Minter ruled QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) and OLB Trey Hendrickson (finger) out for Sunday night at Atlanta, per BaltimoreRavens.com's Ryan Mink. Jackson did not practice this week after leaving last week's Titans game early.
Tyler Huntley starts. The Ravens won both of Huntley's starts last season (vs. Chicago and Green Bay), Mink noted. Top WR Zay Flowers is questionable (foot) after not practicing fully all week. CB Marlon Humphrey is also questionable (hamstring/calf).
NFL.com and ESPN both confirmed the Jackson out / Huntley start pairing for SNF.
Fantasy fallout:
- Sit Lamar. Sit him in every format. This isn't a decoy.
- Downgrade every Ravens pass-catcher until Flowers' status clears. Huntley can move the ball, but ceiling plays drop a tier.
- Atlanta defense / Falcons skill get a quiet bump in streaming leagues when the opposing QB is a backup — don't overthink it into a must-start, just don't leave free points on the bench.
- Bijan Robinson: still start him (Rule No. 1), even if Baltimore's run defense grades tough in our model.
Chargers watch: McConkey still Questionable
Los Angeles hosts Denver on Sunday at SoFi (1:05 p.m. PT, CBS). The Bolts' injury board is already a novella — see our 0-4 injury crisis piece — and WR Ladd McConkey remains Questionable (foot) after missing practice all week, per Chargers.com and CBS Sports.
Also OUT for the Chargers (CBS Sports / team report): WR Quentin Johnston, WR Brenen Thompson, OT Joe Alt, G Kayode Awosika, OL Trevor Penning, CB Donte Jackson, S Derwin James. QB Trey Lance is DOUBTFUL (groin).
Fantasy fallout:
- McConkey: treat as a game-time decision. If active, volume-based WR3 with a tough Broncos matchup baked into our model. If inactive, look at Tre' Harris in deep PPR only.
- Keaton Mitchell: still the deep-league RB flier we like against Denver's softer run-defense grade.

What to do in the next hour
- Open your app. Remove the OUTs.
- Check our free Start/Sit tool with your replacement options.
- Read the full Week 5 start/sit and sleepers/waivers if you haven't.
Our take (opinion): Week 5 just became a streaming week. The managers who panic-start a random Ravens receiver because "Huntley played well last year" are the ones who lose by 4 points. Stick to volume and matchups. Start your healthy studs. Sit the injured stars. Boring wins October.
